Create your own clothing designs with a Makerbot? Amazing! Check out this project by Chilean designer Mauricio Rojas, called "Telar para Valentina." This maker printed the plastic parts using approximately 1 lb. of white ABS 3mm filament (printed at 30% fill). The project took around 4 days to print, with the larger regletal.stl file requiring a well-calibrated machine for optimal results; this designer used http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:14174 to achieve excellent quality. To assemble your own, follow these steps: print 20 copies of regletasmall2.stl, 10 regletal.stl, 2 gotaengrane_fixed.stl, and 8 thumb screws from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11848. Wood details and assembly instructions are pending.
