UPDATE 3: I've added another stand to my previous work, just a few minor tweaks were needed. UPDATE 2: The second stand is significantly taller and has five legs instead of three, making it even more stable. UPDATE 1: My original cap design had a critical flaw - it leaked! After reworking the design, it now works perfectly and you won't have to worry about spills anymore. As a stem cell researcher, my wife always brings home plenty of lab equipment. The 50 ml conical tube is everywhere and is truly indispensable due to its simplicity and affordability. There's just one catch - these little guys don't stay upright on their own, so I decided to create something to help with that problem. Here are two versions of a simple stand designed specifically for the 50 ml conical tube, along with a handy cap perfect for dispensing liquids such as soy sauce. Just attach them to your existing tube and you're all set! Instructions This design is nice and easy to print - even 10% infill should work fine! For any part of this project that comes into contact with food, I would highly recommend using food-safe materials for the sake of your health.
