50 AA Battery holder for IKEA SKADIS pegboard
prusaprinters
I made this variation of IKEA SKADIS pegboard battery holder as I wanted version with as minimum filament as I can make it.For optimal performance use PETG with PVC piping glue (examples on pictures) and make sure to glue in correct orientation.Read glue instructions to achieve best results.I use PVC glue for PETG most of the time as it's great, but for this case I believe simpler, more common hotglue, or 2part epoxy glue would work just fine. My print parameters were (please use recommended parameters below with smaller nozzle and layer height as I had small defects):- printer: Prusa MK3S- layer height: 0.3mm- nozzle diameter: 0.6mm- print orientation: as in the STL file- material: PETG- supports: not needed- source files: included- how many perimeters: 4 RECOMMENDED PARAMETERS:- printer: Prusa :)- additional settings in slicer: +turn on “detect thin walls” - layer height: 0.2mm- nozzle diameter: 0.4mm- print orientation: as in the STL file- material: PETG- supports: not needed- how many perimeters: 4 (for hangers/legs)Defects due to wide nozzle and not turning on thin wall detection in slicer settings:As model is still working well, I will not throw it out as garbage because of those defects. Please use recommended settings and let me know via MAKE how it turned out ;)If it will be bad I will redesign it :)
