This Syringe Adapter Head suits 50/60cc medical syringes for air pressure dispensing or 3D printing paste extruders. It's a perfect match for Makerbot Frostruder syringe adapter replacement. A quarter turn locks and seals the syringe, enabling air pressure to release its contents. Made from one part only, print it with support material on. The visible bolts in photos are for reinforcement, not assembly. This design omits extra o-rings or tube connectors; instead, the syringe's rubber plunger serves as a seal and tubing fits by friction. An enhanced version offers extra strength with two additional bolts to relieve stress. The adapter works well with BD Plastipak 50/60cc syringes, although similar-sized syringes from other brands may also be compatible; users are encouraged to share their experiences in the comments, specifying brand and type for inclusion in the compatibility list.
