This is a DIY enclosure for a Sonoff Basic that fits snugly inside standard light switch housings. The project draws inspiration from the 530_Projects In-Wall Sonoff Light Switch Remix, which incorporates an additional circuit board to engage the Sonoff's GPIO pins. This version simplifies the design by eliminating unnecessary components and relies solely on 3D printing. To function seamlessly like a three-way switch, this enclosure employs a clever diving board mechanism that triggers the Sonoff's button when the light switch is flipped. Regardless of the previous switch position, the relay cycles accordingly. Assembly Instructions: 1) Print one copy each of the provided files with 10% infill and no supports for the case_back, case_front, and button_board. The switch_actuator requires supports and should be printed at 25% or greater infill. To ensure optimal results, print the button_board with the cup facing upwards. 2) Begin assembly by inserting the button_board end into the small slot on the case_back, ensuring the small cup faces away from the wall. This intentional tight fit may require minor filing to facilitate smooth insertion. Next, remove the Sonoff from its original casing and slide it into the case_back with the notched end first. Verify that the button_board slides in completely and that the cup surrounds the top of the button. Place the switch_actuator into the case_front, taking note of the hyperbolic tab on its back, which will push the button_board up and down. Finally, wire the Sonoff and attach the front of the case to the back. Important: When powering the Sonoff for the first time, ensure the button is not pressed to prevent it from entering flash mode.
