This is a comprehensive set of mounting hinges, LCD container boxes, and associated bracketry designed specifically for installing a 5 inch HDMI touchscreen on the Lulabot Taz 3 (or 4/5 with some modifications) control box. By doing so, you can not only enhance your printer's appearance but also its functionality, making it an absolute win-win! This project utilizes several M3 heat set inserts, including 2 M3 10mm bolts, 10 M3 6mm bolts, and 4 M3 12 or 14mm bolts. Additionally, you'll need a long ribbon cable (26 pin) with one end male and the other female, although these seem to be quite rare. Furthermore, you'll require an HDMI ribbon cable specifically designed for Raspberry Pi. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.5mm Infill: 85% or better Notes: This model can be printed using ABS, PLA, or other plastics with excellent results. Support is already integrated into the design. Post-Printing Instructions: Print out all the parts and then install 8 M3 heat set inserts in the front LCD bezel, 2 in the rear box cover, 2 in the LCD bracket hinge thing that gets them installed at the ends, and 2 in the Taz 3 control box cover.
