5 String Concert Ukulele
thingiverse
A commenter on my other project asked if my generator can produce a 5 string version of the Concert Ukulele, so here it is! DISCLAIMER: I haven't tried printing this yet! Third Party Parts: * Get two 24" long rods and cut them down to size. You'll need these for the spine. If you don't use a rod, the neck will bow under string tension. * Go to http://www.acpsales.com/.125-x-.325-Rectangular-Rod.html or https://dragonplate.com/ecart/product.asp?pID=749&cID=20 to find the rods. * You can also consider using cheaper friction tuners like Gotoh UPT-UBB-B Tuners from http://www.theukulelesite.com/gotoh-upt-tuner-upgrade.html * Use M2 wood screws like these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MTKUV85 for assembly. * To print this, you'll need a big delta style printer. Orient the neck pointing up, like a flower vase. I recommend printing with 100 micron layer height and at least 33% lattice infill.
