Designing from scratch is a thrilling process, as evidenced by the custom 5-speed transmission that took shape through intense programming sessions with MATLAB. This tool proved to be an invaluable asset, providing immediate answers on gear ratios and automatically computing crucial data such as precise gear geometry, individual teeth counts per gear, optimal shifting schedules, distance traveled within each gear phase, and concurrent vehicle speed plots. This meticulous design groundwork facilitated seamless development of a parametric model of a helical gear, perfectly suited to input variables like tooth quantity, module dimension, pressure angle configuration, and optimized helical tilt angles. By swiftly inputting desired parameters into the system, I enabled CATIA software to create customized geometric designs, effortlessly bringing complex mathematical constructs to life. In order to visualize these computational endeavors in an interactive medium, another prized model – "Blocker Ring Synchromesh Unit" – took on its most advanced configuration. Meticulous assemblage ensued until, through precision calculations coupled with ingenious programing techniques, this ambitious vision finally became tangible, thereby showcasing impressive technological accomplishments via comprehensive performance displays showcased within the associated calculation folders for optimal perusal enjoyment and inspiration.
