The Larson Electronics HL-85 is a 100 Watt Halogen handheld spotlight emitting 1800 lumens, suitable for recreational boating, fishing, hunting, search and rescue, and security. It produces a beam capable of expanding to 900 feet and operates on 12 or 24 volts DC. The lightweight, ultra-rugged spotlight can be used as a spot or flood light. The handle and lamp housing support are made from high impact nylon while the polycarbonate lamp housing is thick and contoured for extra support. The 16 gauge internal wiring and connectors are simple and well constructed. With an industrial grade, tungsten filament bulb, it offers 1200 hours of life while producing over 5 million candlepower. It features a reflector that captures and focuses light efficiently and effectively, with a convex lens and inset lens positioning for optimal projection. The bulb and reflector configuration ensures 90% of the emitted light is captured and focused, reducing casting. The HL-85 weighs only 13 ounces and features an ergonomic design for easy carrying and operation. It can be mounted on a magnetic base or tripod and comes with a detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug. It can operate on 12 or 24 volts DC, depending on the bulb used.
