5 iPad Penholder Wallmount
thingiverse
I'm always on the lookout for a solution to deploy our iPad Pens in a docking station that meets our needs. We have ten of these pens in school at the moment and I was determined to find something that would work for us. First, we need a place where everyone can see the pens and easily load them. Second, we want to be able to check if any pen is missing at first sight. After searching for a solution, I couldn't find anything usable, so I decided to create my own with Tinkercad. It took several steps, but I finally came up with a design that meets our requirements. Printing with the Ultimaker S5 is amazing! Using dual extrusion with support material and brim produces great results, as you can see from the pictures. Unfortunately, the Makerbot Replicator+ (one extruder) doesn't produce the same level of quality. I had to place the model on the plate without overhangs, which resulted in an okay but not perfect outcome.
