We just purchased a Whynter AC unit and require ventilation through a horizontally sliding window. Pilot holes should be drilled for screws attaching the vent-tube to the plate, as well as between the plate and extension. This design was created using Tinkercad, allowing you to import it into their system and modify it according to your windows and print bed dimensions. Print the grate with supports for the tabs as shown. Ensure that the extension fits snugly within the groove holding the window in place. Then, use a dowel to prevent the window from sliding further open - prioritize safety above all else!
