I created a custom back plate for my 8x16 lathe, as the original part was missing. The goal was to prevent debris and chips from accumulating in the three-jaw chuck's internal gears. To achieve this, I designed and manufactured a replacement part that ensures smooth operation and minimizes potential jamming issues.
