5 Gallon Bucket Lid Window for 40W Laser Cutter Cooling Tank

A simple acrylic window solution for a 5-gallon bucket's lid has been employed as a viewing platform for a cooling tank supporting a high-precision 40-watt laser cutter driven by an under-water submersible pump system. To provide necessary attachment points, four precision-cut holes were incorporated to accommodate 4-40 screw threads. The available 1/2" long flathead sheet metal screws from existing inventory proved useful for this purpose, while utilizing a countering bit effectively smoothed the surfaces around the screw heads, achieving an impeccable finish. In light of limited resources, an alternative method was devised due to an inconvenient design constraint – cutting out the acrylic window wouldn't fit within the operational parameters of the laser cutter in question. For the benefit of those who may find themselves in a similar situation, the corresponding DXF file is now readily available for inspection and utilization.
