A gimbal can be purchased for at least $70, which is not cheap. Landing to adjust the camera and then taking off again is inefficient and takes time. I started thinking about a solution. A servo fixed to the drone connected to the gimbal's output signal was my idea. My drone, the Freex mcfx, has this output; if your drone does, you can make this project! If not, it gets complicated because an additional battery, receiver, and transmitter are needed. This project is simple and I think anyone can do it. It should take up to one hour to complete including 3D printing. The total cost is about $5 and it's compatible with every camera that has a GoPro mount.
