The raw meal undergoes preheating in its initial stage, which involves six cyclones. This heated material is then transported to the kiln through a dividing gate. A swan neck system allows for controlled release of hot gases to two nozzle per heater strings. The smoke chamber further directs the pre-heated material into the kiln, while excess hot gases are channeled back to the calciner via a hot air duct.
