5 button wireless hand controller
thingiverse
A 5-button hand controller that I designed as a wireless device. It was redesigned in Onshape so you can duplicate and modify the files to suit your needs. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/73b2e99c57989e27f6939f01/w/5c3df88b3e875f22f6024dcf/e/3ad7c2d4a4ec4b6de6b6e7d7 (Except the button mold files, I'm sorry). It's designed for a 16x2 LCD with or without I2C. The buttons and PCB mounts are all on a 0.1" PCD for compatibility with strip/vero boards. I used 6x6x5mm through-hole, tactile, momentary switches for the buttons. A 2.1mm PCB mount power jack is used as the DC power socket. I've included button files that can be printed in TPU or molds that can be used for silicone buttons. Both methods work well. I used an NRF24L01 and an Arduino Pro Mini for this project, but an ESP8266 or Wemos D1 mini would work just as well or even better. The choices are endless. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 100% Notes: I have printed this in both PLA and ABS, and both work fine. You can print the case top and bottom either face up with support and a brim for a printed outside texture or face down with no support and a flat face. If printing face up, I would recommend using ABS to make the support easier to remove.
