This is a 5-bar linkage desk lamp. It can mount to the tube in most vesa monitor stands. This desk lamp can be made out of wood with a simple saw and drill. The 5-bar linkage has three resting positions: fully retracted, just over half extended and fully extended. Gravity keeps the linkage in the resting positions.
