Ragdath wasn’t prone to trust others so he began investigating this so-called goddess and came to find Oreth. Her power was undeniable, but this same thing made him weary, questioning why would such a being accept to help someone like him. After learning that they had a mind flayer amidst their ranks made Ragdath question what was the better choice: having to work together with a mind flayer to exact revenge on those who falsely accused him or to keep his pride and keep looking for another way to get the power he so desires.
