5/8x24 Thread Protector, Standard (0.62" L x 0.8" OD)

This is the standard length version of my 5/8x24 muzzle thread protector. Most manufacturers list their 5/8x24 muzzle threads as being between 0.6" and 0.62" long, and this protector matches that measurement perfectly at 0.62" in length. Printing with either 0.2 mm or 0.15 mm layers works just fine, though using the thinner layer might result in a slightly tighter fit. It's worth noting that PLA and PETG can warp and melt under intense heat, so I wouldn't recommend using this protector for extended periods of firing. However, I only use it to keep my threads from getting scratched during transport and storage, as suppressors are usually mounted before any actual shooting. Printing with two or three perimeters will give you a solid thread protector.
