Human: 5.8GHz FPV For Goggle Mounting With Wide Beam Antenna System: Improved Signal Tracking. A wide-beam antenna has a 62-degree beamwidth allowing you to track your plane or quad using head movements alone. This works with right and left polarization - just download the corresponding file from Thingiverse. The 4-turn version provides narrower beamwidth but higher gain; see the link below for more details. **Important Instructions** You will need several components besides printed parts: - Copper wire (diameter: 1-1.2mm) - Double-sided PCB board (copper-clad) - Semi-rigid coax (cut into halves with connectors fitted - easily sourced on eBay) - Solder - Glue Drill two holes in the pcb disc (4mm diameter and a second aligned with reflector holder's recess). Solder the internal wire to the front and back of the PCB. Place the coax lead support aside, strip the metal shielding and solder it onto the PCB. Make three 1/3 turns on the antenna coil former; then wind it back slightly to align with the coax tip. Solder the wave trap in place along the center of the coil's first quarter turn. Attach your FPV system to goggles and fly! The print settings are standard, no support material needed anywhere.
