This allows you to attach a light stand with a 3/8 inch pin to a light head designed for a 5/8 inch rod. Most users prefer either a 5/8 inch, "Baby" or 1 1/8 inch, "Junior" mounting size. Stands featuring a 3/8 inch pin are less popular today. This item is well-suited for use with Alien Bee strobe units. Used stands with a 3/8 inch pin can often be found on eBay at a lower cost than similar-height stands with a 5/8 inch pin. I have not yet printed one of these stands. I have included the raw SketchUp file and two STL variations in this package.
