I recently purchased a new 8" grinder from Harbor Freight, which comes with a convenient 5/8" arbor. Unfortunately, my existing Harbor Freight 8" buffing wheel has a much larger 1" hole, leaving me with a significant gap between the two parts. To compensate for this difference, I had to get creative with washers and spacers, but these makeshift solutions often resulted in an unbalanced wheel that would easily topple over. This issue prompted me to search for a more reliable solution, which led me to discover a perfect-fitting replacement part designed specifically for my Harbor Freight grinder. This innovative component seamlessly fits over the arbor of my grinder and inside the buffing wheel, ensuring perfectly balanced spins and filling the space between the cotton wheel and the tightening nut. The large washers included with the original grinder distribute the pressure from the nut very evenly, allowing me to use my grinder multiple times a week without any issues.
