Measurements of the template are based on this calculator: jcoppens.com/ant/helix/calc.en.php If you're unsure about what a helical antenna looks like or how to build one, search for more information on YouTube or Google. Usage: Take a straight 1 mm copper wire and bend the first 5 mm at a right angle. Insert it into the top hole of the template. Wrap the wire tightly around the template. Always curve a loop slightly beyond what's needed. Next, use side cutters to cut off the bent end and fold down the helix along the template. According to calculations on jcoppens.com/ant/helix/calc.en.php, the reflector must be at least 32 mm in diameter.
