5.8 GHz Helical Antenna
thingiverse
Create Helical Antenna for 5.8 GHz Using CATIA Design Software. Print Out Mandrel and Support Structure, Then Wrap Solid Copper Wire Around in Pre-Cut Groove. Twist Wire into Support to Secure Connection. Solder Connector and Backing Plane onto Antenna for Reliable Signal Transmission. Some Tuning May Be Required, but Most Users Lack Access to Advanced Network Analyzers. Despite This, Helical Antenna Should Function Effectively Regardless. Note that this is a Right Hand Circularly Polarized Antenna, So it Will Only Work with Transmitters That Use the Same Polarization Mode. Successfully Used with FatShark Goggles in the Past.
