I'm excited to finally get my hands on one of these fidget spinners. I've seen them everywhere and always wanted to try one out, but the only bearings I had lying around were 5/8 OD and 1/4 ID, measuring 15.8 and 6.35mm respectively. So, I quickly whipped up a design in Fusion 360. The result is a functional fidget spinner that holds US nickels as weights, and it even prints perfectly with a press-fit assembly on the first try. To print this design successfully, I recommend orienting the caps flat-side down. Unfortunately, Thingiverse often gets my STL files oriented incorrectly, so be sure to double-check your settings before printing. I've included an IGES file for you to modify as you see fit. Keep in mind that I designed this quickly and didn't take the time to chamfer any edges or add any extra features. However, with this file, you can easily make adjustments and create a design that suits your needs. If you're working on a smaller scale, consider shortening the overall length of the spinner to accommodate smaller hands.
