5/8 Dia tube guide and clamp

5/8 Dia tube guide and clamp

My old craftsman table saw had plastic clamps for the top extenders. Both were broken. I reverse engineered them but changed design for 3D printing. Would work well for other types of clamping to a 5/8" tube or rod. Printing: You can print in any common material. You need supports "everywhere". The large piece can lay flat on its flat bottom. The cam handle also has a flat side to put on the bed. Finally the reinforcement clips need to be printed so that it is like a letter U lying flat. This allows the direction of filament flow to make a stronger clip. You could vary the cam handle a bit to make it have a tighter clamp force. I will upload the sketchup file as well for the cam handle. The reinforcement clips fit over the portions of the large piece where the circle is complete. The narrow 10mm clip fits over the 10mm portion and the larger one clips over the portion with at the 45 degree angle. Since the direction of filament is different it makes for a strong section. I used adhesive as well on the clips.
