This is an adapter for the outlet of a propane regulator designed specifically for use in smoke machines made from modified propane regulators. It's crucial to note that this part is not intended for actual use with propane; I strongly advise against using it for propane applications due to safety concerns. Instead, its purpose is to facilitate pumping smoke through a system to detect leaks. The propane regulator features 5/8 inch threads with an 18 thread pitch, requiring a corresponding hose connection of 3/8 inch diameter. Obtaining parts that meet these specifications can be quite challenging. Fortunately, the printed adapter fits perfectly onto the regulator's threaded outlet, with no issues detected during the printing process.
