5.25" IBM PCjr Floppy Drive case for Gotek FDD emulator
thingiverse
This is a case for a Gotek FDD emulator that precisely mimics the appearance of the 5.25" floppy drive found in an IBM PCjr (And likely other IBM models from that era).\r\n\r\nI printed all components with supports. The front face has an additional support built into the display bezel because I was dissatisfied with the support generated by my slicer.\r\n\r\nThe lever functions as a selection switch. Three selection buttons were glued into the bracket directly behind the selection lever.\r\nFront and rear levers are secured together by inserting an M3 nut in the front part and a bolt in the rear part. Front face and bracket are attached together by inserting an M6 nut in the front part and a bolt in the rear part.\r\n\r\nI have installed Flashfloppy firmware on the Gotek and followed the hardware modifications guide to install the buttons. I was unable to get the speaker working yet.\r\nhttps://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy/wiki
