Bracketing allows both a Gotek emulator drive and a 3.5" floppy drive to fit within the same 5.25" (half height) drive bay. Due to space limitations, priority was given to incorporating a screen (128x64 OLED), resulting in no rotary encoder mount or hole being included. The green LED hole has also been removed. The OLEDs obtained via eBay or Aliexpress and other online marketplaces vary significantly in size, requiring 27mm high by 25mm wide models to be selected. Longer wires than those supplied with the Gotek are necessary to connect the screen to the Gotek board. A very tight fit exists between the large capacitor on the Gotek and the bottom of the 3.5" drive, potentially necessitating insulating tape for secure installation depending on the drive case. Some Goteks feature this capacitor in a horizontal position, eliminating any potential issues. To accommodate an added buzzer, right-angle pins or direct soldering may be required. An alternative version moves the Gotek to the left, catering to users who prefer this configuration.
