Please consider joining our Tribe… Umber Hulks are terrible monsters that typically live in the underground, tunneling through rock with frightful ease thanks to their massive claws, while their thick armor is as strong as steel. Looking something like a hybrid between a large ape and a beetle, their most prominent feature are huge mandibles and mouths filled with sharp triangular teeth. Umber Hulks are not particularly intelligent, but they are far from unthinking brutes as they are most commonly seen by others. They are usually loner when left alone, but there are races who use them as preferred servants, such as neogi, mind flayers, dark elves or even human spellcasters.
