$5.00Tail Rotor for Single Main Rotor Helicopter
myminifactory
There are many different types of Tail Rotors in actual helicopters. This model is a Rod (push/pull) type Tail Rotor including a Tail Gearbox (TGB) and Control Pedal to understand the basic Helicopter Tail Rotor function. Drag Hinge, Flap Hinge, and Cyclic Feathering Function are not necessarily required for Tail Rotors because blades are short and vertically installed. The features of this model include: 1. A Rod (push/pull) type pitch change mechanism that is not a Swashplate Type. 2. A Tail Gearbox (TGB), Bevel Gear Type. 3. A Pedal Type Pilot Control mechanism with linkage. 4. The input shaft height matches the TTO shaft height of my MGB model for future use. You can download the 3D printing files from MyMiniFactory, including: * STL Files (28 items) - "ws" in the file name indicates that it's a special design with support. * An assembly manual in PDF format, which includes parts lists, after-printing treatment, and assembly procedures based on standard skills. To assemble this model, you will need to purchase the following parts: * Metal bearings for gear shafts and rotor heads * AL tubes (see assembly manual) * Screws and other fasteners (micro screws M1.4x3.5L are used for direct screw-in to 1 mm diameter holes) The total net print time is approximately 16 hours, estimated based on PLA printing with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 40% infill, and no raft or support. However, you can adjust these parameters according to your experience. Note: The parts with gears, small shafts, and thin portions require 100% infill for optimal results. My models were printed using an "idbox" with a 0.4 nozzle and 1.75 PLA. I wish you the best of luck in your project!
