This model is a modified version of Main-Gear-Box (see URL), which was created previously. https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-main-gear-box-helicopter-driven-by-2-engines-75211 The modification goal is to utilize the major components of Helicopter-Power-Train, which is driven by Turboshaft model (see URL), a recent creation. https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-turboshaft-engine-with-radial-compressor-and-turbine-75203 About the Helicopter-Power-Train model image, refer to the photo provided. To achieve stable rotation, several modifications have been introduced: 1. Metal Bearings are used for all rotating shafts. 2. The Input Gear has been replaced with a Bevel Gear. 3. Provisions have been made to attach the Main Rotor Head in the future. An Assembly Manual (PDF format, 13 pages) is available, which includes detailed instructions on "Parts-List", "After printing treatment" and "Assembly procedure" based on "Standard Skill" (filing, drilling, tapping, and painting). Downloadable files include: * STL Files (24 items) + The file name starts with "ws" for the last two digits, indicating that it is a special design with support. * Purchase Parts Information: + Metal Bearings are used for every shaft. Refer to the Assembly Manual for details. Estimated cost is approximately 6,000 yen per set of bearings in Japan. + ABS Tube: refer to the Assembly Manual + Screws and other components: micro screws M1.4x3.5L - 5 ea (direct screw-in to a 1 mm diameter hole, no nut); see the Assembly Manual for other sizes. Total Net Print Time: approximately 35 hours (estimated for PLA material, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 40% infill, and no raft or support). Note that actual print parameters may be adjusted based on personal experience. 3D printing settings: * Raft, Support, Layer Height, Infill: adjust according to your experience. * For parts with gears, small shafts, and thin portions, 100% infill is recommended. My models were printed using "idbox" with a 0.4 nozzle and 1.75 PLA. I wish you success with your project!
