I have successfully created a detailed model of various jet engines, adhering to size limitations imposed by my 3D printer. I then expanded each component and created the actual model, which provides structural explanations. This is the "Axial Compressor" model, featuring several incorporated elements. These include: (1) Variable Guide Vane Pitch change achieved through a linking lever; (2) Blades with retained "Dovetail Roots" secured by Retainers; (3) Disks referred to as "Wing Disks" equipped with labyrinth air seals; (4) Brazed stator structures; and (5) Assembly Jigs that reproduce the interrelationship of these elements. Moving forward, other components such as Turbines, Propellers, etc., will be manufactured. Downloadable files include STL Files (15 items) named "ws" followed by the last two digits indicating "With Support," a special design feature. Additionally, Assembly-Photos are provided in PDF(ZIP) format. Purchase information for parts includes: Copper(Cu) Plates 0.5mm thick for Blade Retainers; Screws, Washers, and Nuts (M2 and M3); and Standard Skill requirements such as Drilling, Tapping, Filing, Tightening, Painting, and Gluing. Estimated total net print time is approximately 23 hours, based on PLA printing with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 40% infill, and no raft or support. Note that actual print parameters may vary depending on individual experience. My models were printed using "idbox" with a 0.4 nozzle and 1.75 PLA. I hope you enjoy the making process!
