Kaeraunai (plural for keraunos) are living lightning specialists, with the ability to channel electrical currents through their living crystals. They are most often employed in protection, alongside crabfolk arbiters, and war. They are strong, loyal combatants who understand the importance of every bit of the akademis they reside at any given moment as a strategic advantage. The Kaeraunai in Tenufos Akademis have been instructed to keep silent whenever they’re on the clock. The main intention of this silence is to keep the tunnels a secret. Some are tasked with kidnapping locals for the akademis to perform experiments. Others remain on the surface, keeping control and the rule of law. Sparks are apprentices. Elves who can tame lightning, but who can’t perform advanced practice just yet. Overloaders are experts in the matter, special operations and leaders of battalions.
