4x5 Film Digitizer

This is an easy way to use a digital camera to digitize 4x5 sheets of film. Scanners tend to leave Newton rings when the film touches the glass. There is no glass in my digitize. A constant light source or a strobe can be used to light up the film. The camera can be positioned directly above the digitizer or it can be laid vertically or horizontally.
