This is a sleek box designed to showcase the incredible 4x4 puzzle by New Matter. I conceptualized it using OnShape, carefully crafting it to be adaptable to various parameters such as tolerance, cube size, and adding an intricate hexagonal pattern design. The pattern was precision-engineered to be slightly smaller than the pieces, ensuring they would fit snugly within. Walls with a thickness of 1.2mm were used, resulting in an exceptionally clean print, even with a 0.4mm nozzle. Upon first print, it turned out perfectly, albeit a tad tight. The puzzle was printed using Fillamentum's premium Crystal Clear filament on an Original Prusa i3 MK2S. With just a little sanding, the finished product is truly breathtaking.
