This wooden framework consists of four-by-four inch wood squares. To ensure a seamless fit, I had to carefully sand down each square before assembling it. For optimal results, I strongly advise you to plane your wood prior to cutting out the individual tiles with a miter saw. To get started, simply check out my latest video tutorial for step-by-step instructions on how to complete this project. In essence, I cut out each tile at a 10-degree angle, then rotated it 90 degrees clockwise for the second pass, followed by a 90-degree counterclockwise rotation for the next pattern, and finally a 180-degree clockwise rotation for the third design element. Once I had completed these precision cuts, I simply sprayed the tiles with a coat of paint and reinserted them into their designated slots in the framework.
