4x4 keyboard with Arduino Pro Micro
thingiverse
This is a 3D printed macro keyboard designed to work with an Arduino Pro Micro, providing users with quick access to shortcuts while using their Wacom keyboards. For those interested in creating this project, searching for "Keyboard Keys Metal Panel SPST Machine Pushbutton Switch" on eBay can yield suitable options. Alternatively, purchasing a metal plate and selecting different switches, such as Cherry MX ones, is also feasible. The provided pictures showcase an early version of the keyboard, which was created using incorrect measurements. Despite this, the switch plate still fit albeit somewhat uncomfortably. The revised files included here ensure that everything fits snugly together. A sample code used in this project can be found on GitHub at https://github.com/nariox/4x4arduinokeyboard. Those interested in improving the design may note that screw holes were not drawn, resulting in a less-than-sturdy construction.
