This massive 4WD vehicle, nearly fully 3D printed, showcases incredible speed capabilities as seen in a video here: https://youtu.be/PbDKhWGhZAw. The Rhino file included allows for editing and personalization to your liking. Skid steering allows for agility at low speeds while articulation offers efficiency at higher speeds, thanks to a centre pinion system reminiscent of loader functionality. Check out this combination in action here: https://youtu.be/6YNzH0Ci6As. Printers with 12mm hexagon couplings like those from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1024399 or http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:470486 would also work. Note that for off-road excursions, rubber tires are the better choice but printed wheels shine on grass, sand, and other smooth surfaces. Observe how this version builds upon previous skid-steer only designs from Thingiverse like http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1024399 with enhanced suspension, wheel carrier (motor mounts), making it more robust overall. Inspect the improved arrangement in this video: https://youtu.be/CsUW8GbgfBI Rubber tires have a remarkable towing capacity. Witness the reinforced cage atop the front suspension towers in one photo, built using 6.3mm aluminum. Find a template for bending these bars within the .3dm file. Utilized crystal clear ABS for steering parts, as it has proven to be incredibly durable. To strengthen the vehicle even more, I employed an airgun set to 270C on stressed areas that are prone to cracking or joints, such as those where different components meet.
