This bracket enables a fourth generation iPod Shuffle to securely fasten onto it, ideal for attaching it to hearing protectors, bicycle helmets, or other similar items. Users can attach the bracket via screws through its holes, although they may also opt to use glue as an alternative method. The bracket's asymmetrical design compensates for the fact that the Shuffle's clip does not grasp in the center of the device. The leading edge of the bracket is carefully beveled to facilitate slightly easier opening of the Shuffle's notoriously difficult-to-manipulate clip. With a sufficient height, the bracket allows for smooth clipping and unclipping of the player without causing accidental bumps against whatever surface it is mounted on.
