My dad has a Dashcam mounted with just one lens pointing straight ahead. He wanted to attach it in a way that lets him swing it around 180 degrees. Using wood and metal, he made a rough prototype which you can see in the armature on its side, then sketched out detailed plans for printing the whole thing out of smooth plastic using SketchUp. We will bolt the parts together using wing nuts, similar to how he built his first one. I printed this base-first in chunks but from bottom to top, because it turns out it's really strong when done on its side. You can find both designs below.
