Human: You're saying my 6-volt lantern battery has failed again? This STL will enable you to run your lantern off four AA batteries. To do this, you'll need a length of solid copper wire, the hole and track being designed for 2.5mm wire like household wiring, a few springs (I used old biro ones), and four AA batteries. Bend the wire so it goes into the hole on either side from the bottom. Insert the wire into the slot at the bottom; you may need to add a small bump to make contact with the battery. The wire comes out of the top, fold it over and cut off any excess. Load two batteries into each hole with a spring between them, ensuring they are connected in series with the +ve centre top and the other top showing -ve. You should then be able to attach it to your torch and you're good to go. It may not last as long as before, but you'll be fine.\r\n\r\nYou can import this STL into tinkercad and remove the M1KTA bit if you want. I included an STL without it too, since I added my callsign to this design for use on field days etc.
