4mm Tube Cutter PTFE
thingiverse
I discovered that cutting PTFE with a sharp knife is remarkably straightforward; however, if the cut filament is not exactly 90 degrees, it may become lodged in a push fitting. On the other hand, I found that this block always produces precise cuts using a 0.7mm blade (such as a box knife). Additionally, the block can be employed to hold tubing while drilling, which simplifies the process significantly. To further enhance functionality, I incorporated slots at various angles: 30 degrees, 45 degrees, and 60 degrees. As an added safety feature, the block's dimensions are such that it can be securely held in one's hand. When working with PTFE tube, it was noted that a 4mm hole requires reaming out using a 4mm drill to ensure a snug fit.
