For those who keep getting the end of their teflon tubing to melt, causing the filament to clog, some people have started buying Capricorn PTFE filament as a solution. I'm guessing that anyone who cuts a new end to their filament is likely replacing the entire length of the tubing from the extruder to the hotend's heatbreak, which is just plain wasteful.
