The 4mm panel mount banana socket provides solid electrical connection for a standard 4mm banana plug.The socket has a plastic shroud that electrically insulates the contact from a possible metal panel. The mount requires an 8mm mounting hole. I've included a solder tag often sold with this connector. The socket is commonly available.
