4mm Adjustment Knob and Nut Lock Plate
thingiverse
This handy knob attaches perfectly on top of a 4mm screw, allowing for smooth and precise adjustments without reaching for a cumbersome allen wrench. The lock plate comes in handy when you need to loosen the nut temporarily, then secure it back down with ease once you've made your adjustment. I find this nifty feature incredibly useful during my fusematic volume rebuild projects, particularly when fine-tuning the z-axis settings. What's more, it makes a seamless transition from printing on 3M tape to glass surfaces, as I know exactly where the knob needs to be positioned. Here are the instructions: To assemble this fantastic gadget, simply print out both parts and attach the knob firmly on top of the 4mm x 65mm screw. It's likely going to fit with a snug, tight seal. If you're feeling extra cautious, you might consider adding some hot glue to secure it in place - your mileage may vary! The nut level conveniently holds a 4mm nut in place.
