4max Pro 2 V6 Conversion BMG
prusaprinters

this conversion is aimed to reuse as much OEM equipment as possible . it raises everything 6mm to accommodate the longer hot end assembly . I used a genuine E3D V6 direct drive . This allows for use of left hand bmg /titan extruder assemblies

This conversion has been tested and does in fact work . I recommend printing the assembly

out of abs

future updates will include a lid

12/30/21 lid added

1/27/22: the best fan duct i have come up with has been added (fanduct2022.stl)

Top Plate updated for better clearance by extruder (topUPDATED.stl)

GUIDE: assembly is pretty basic .

Print out all of your pieces from abs or higher temp material

The top and bottom plates need glued together .

Disassemble the top of the carriage and remove all the hot end and heatsink components

remove the extruder assembly ,

the eccentric ring gets installed into the carriage

reinstall everything on the new plate assembly .

Most everything goes back into a similar location as with oem
Category: 3D Printing
