Top half of 4 dimensional zoetrobe redesigned for Staples 3D Printing Challenge. The stop motion mechanism for this zoetrobe is also being redesigned to meet the new printing criteria. A current working model has been successfully printed by Shapeways numerous times. Pictures and videos of working models are posted here. I'm a late arrival to the contest. I was invited just last week by CG Trader's very own Alex Levcenko. He was intrigued by my EYEDEA shop at Shapeways. The 4Dm8or printed model was displayed by Shapeways in the 2011 Siggraph Conference in Vancouver BC. This is a precision mechanism and redesign is nearly complete. This new platter (in color) can be viewed[without bottom mechanism] by using a turntable and strobe light. Please consider this model for your challenge.
