48mm Mast Cap (bayonet fit) for ADS-B Radome Ground Plane Antenna
thingiverse
The ADS-B radome by Markend is a standout design - it looks incredibly sleek and integrates seamlessly without requiring any soldering to assemble everything perfectly. My only concern with it was the mounting system, which I wanted to modify so that it would fit atop a small 48mm diameter satellite dish mast (available on Amazon as B0052AUX50). I mounted this mast to my balcony railing, allowing the coax cable to run down through the mast and out the bottom. To accommodate other cables, I made a cutout in the mast, enabling them to run up and underneath the antenna to the interior, where they can be routed back down and out as well. The mast attachment simply clicks onto the top of the mast via pressure fit, then securely attaches to the antenna component using a bayonet-style mechanism.
