450 Helicopter V2 bottom plate

After crashing my helicopter a while back, my bottom plate melted due to the battery smoking. Although the front is badly damaged, I can still use it, but I decided to make a new 3D printed bottom plate as a precaution. I have a spare part, but I wanted to create this one now in case I break what I have, then I can simply print another if that happens. I also aimed for something with fewer holes so that I can stick velcro on it more easily. My part is thicker throughout compared to the original. I also added a hole in the middle in case anyone wants to attach a small camera to the belly. I have a small Activeon CX that fits here, so I may try using it sometime. The outcome remains uncertain, but I just added that hole anyway. Use a 1/4" screw; these are normally used as mount sizes if I remember correctly. I'm now printing this part. I'm using a layer thickness of .200 mm and an infill percentage of at least 50%. I wanted to make this part stronger, so I chose this setting. Keep in mind that using 50% infill will take almost two hours to print with the specified layer thickness. Other than that, I've printed seven versions, so I know it fits. I've only printed this part in PLA, but there's no reason why you can't use anything else. If your canopy is loose, this mount will make it snug again. I added a velcro loop at the front and found out that it also helps with my old loose canopy, which was an unexpected bonus.
